KHWAR-Z-MIYA means alghorthim in Arabic.

It is a design premise, & counterargument to the destructive bearings of
mis/dis/information, violence & surveillance. In general, the project is an attempt to translate and activate mental frustration into physical form—all with a bit of good ole’ dissidence.

My screen-printing press was refused entry into Palestine because Israeli customs deemed it a security threat, which I suppose means I had the right idea.  Without the screen-printing press the project came to a standstill. I DIY’d an ironing board into a makeshift press. I finally recovered the press after seven months. Days later, I moved back to the US. I am hoping to bring KHWAR-Z-MIYA  back to life soon.
